It was flagged off from Yeshwanthpur station in Bangalore on March 10, 2008. Within the past one year, this sole luxury train in southern India has embarked on several luxurious voyage of discovery through the Cradle of Stone Architecture. It is named after the famous Stone Chariot in Hampi, a world heritage site, in Southern India.
