The Indian Maharaja Coaches and Saloon :
Indian Maharaja-Deccan Odyssey has royal styled coaches and saloons to provide a luxurious onboard travel experience to its guests. The luxury sojourn is commenced and completed amidst the comforts of the coaches and saloons of this luxury train. It has 21 coaches out of which 11 are passenger cars with 4 coupes each. Two Presidential Suite Cars are there. A conference car (can be redesigned as dance floor in the night), two restaurant cars, a lounge/bar car and a spa & beauty saloon are part of the train apart from the generator cars with luggage store and staff car or spare car.
Each air-conditioned coach has a completely carpeted floor, intricate carvings on ceiling, wall panels and furniture. There are special cabins for the physically challenged guests. Each cabin constitutes of twin beds or double beds with cupboards for storage of luggage, a side table, carved writing desk and bedspreads and upholstery made of rich silks, especially hand woven to ensure luxury and comfort. An individual attached bathroom is fully equipped with toiletries. The internal facilities range from a Wi-Fi, LCD television, DVD with 6 satellite television and channel music, and a wardrobe.
